2020 Annual Conference News
The excitement is building for ISOQOL’s 27th Annual Conference in Prague, Czech Republic, on Wed. 21 – Sat. 24 October.
You can get involved in the conference by submitting an abstract for peer review. Submissions for oral, oral brief and poster abstracts open in early March.
New Abstract Categories
ISOQOL leadership and members identified a strategic goal of balancing HRQL methods, theory and substantive applications in the society’s initiatives and activities. As a result, the abstract categories for the Annual Conference have been updated and are being implemented starting in 2020.
The primary abstract categories now include Theoretical Work, Methodological, and Applications, which consists of Clinical Research, Clinical Care Applications, and Policy.
The International Society for Quality of Life Research (ISOQOL) is a global community of researchers, clinicians, health care professionals, industry professionals, consultants, and patient research partners advancing health related quality of life research (HRQL).
Together, we are creating a future in which patient perspective is integral to health research, care and policy.
