You asked for more on-your-own networking, and we listened. ISOQOL After Hours on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, is your evening, your way. With several concurrent events happening simultaneously, you can drop in, move around, and make it yours.

ISOQOL After Hours Events
Stats SIG PRO Viz Challenge
Tuesday, 20 October | 5:20 pm – 6:50 pm
The Statistics SIG will host its first PRO Viz Challenge in Prague. The Challenge is an exciting opportunity to participate in a team-based visualization competition. Teams of 2-3 persons will collaboratively analyze an assigned PRO dataset and give a 5-minute visual and oral presentation at this special conference session. Judges will award prizes for the top visualizations. Dataset details will be shared shortly.

Dine-Arounds
Tuesday, 20 October | 6:00 & 7:15 pm
Visit with fellow conference attendees while experiencing Prague’s culture! Participants will be placed in small groups, each with a table reserved at a unique restaurant around the city. Sign up onsite in Prague at the Quality Connections Board.
Singing Workshop
Tuesday, 20 October | 8:30 pm – 10:30 pm
Since the Montevideo ISOQOL Annual Conference in 2008, an informal sing-along has occurred during the annual meeting, led by William Lenderking, Madeleine King, and later Kevin Weinfurt. Known for its spontaneous, crowd-participation spirit, the gathering has created many memorable moments over the years and remains a welcoming tradition for many conference participants.
Anyone is welcome to come listen, sing, play an instrument, or whatever you are moved to do (must be legal in the host country). If you have a song that you’re especially eager to do, let Kevin Weinfurt know ahead of time (Kevin.weinfurt@duke.edu), by sending lyrics, chords (ideally), and a video clip of somebody singing the tune.

Welcome Reception & SIG Showcase
Sunday, 18 October | 6:00 – 7:30 pm
Begin your time at the conference by networking at the Welcome Reception. New to 2026, you can learn more about ISOQOL Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and their recent activities by chatting with SIG participants and checking out the SIG Showcase displays. Participate in a fun icebreaker activity to be entered into a raffle for ISOQOL merchandise!
Speed Networking Event
Monday, 19 October | 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Get to know your fellow ISOQOL members during the Speed Networking event at the Annual Conference! Speed Networking is a fun and fast-paced opportunity for early career professionals and students to mingle with experienced and senior members of the HRQL community.
While advanced sign-up is now full, onsite registration during the conference may open if spots become available.

This year’s Annual Conference will feature a registration raffle and silent auction, with all proceeds going toward the Travel Scholarship Program.
