Numerous volunteer groups contribute to the ISOQOL Annual Conference, but sitting at the helm is the Annual Conference Committee. This committee oversees the development of the scientific content presented at the conference. Programs are determined annually based on strategic initiatives.

ISOQOL Leadership welcomes recommendations from ISOQOL members for candidates to serve on the 2026 and 2027 Annual Conference Committees. Please consider applying yourself or nominating another ISOQOL member for one of these important positions.

Open Positions

Annual Conference Co-Chair

ISOQOL is seeking candidates to serve as Co-Chair of the 2027 Annual Conference to be hosted in Canada. Serving as Co-Chair entails a two-year commitment with varying time requirements in the conference planning process. The minimum time commitment is approximately 4-6 hours per month of independent work. In addition, Co-Chairs are expected to attend a 2.5-day in-person planning meeting in June and approximately 40 hours of scheduled calls.

Annual Conference Committee Member

ISOQOL is seeking to fill open positions on both the 2026 and 2027 Annual Conference Committees. Committee members serve an 18-month term, with approximately 2 hours per month of independent work, 8-11 hours of scheduled calls, and volunteering at the Annual Conference.

Local Representative Subcommittee Member

ISOQOL is seeking to fill open positions on both the 2026 and 2027 Annual Conference Local Representative Subcommittee. This subcommittee serves as a bridge between ISOQOL and the host location’s academic, clinical, and public health communities. Subcommittee members serve an 18-month term, with approximately 2 hours per month of independent work, 4-5 hours of scheduled calls, and volunteering at the Annual Conference.

If you are nominating someone else, please complete the Nomination Form below to provide contact information and your reason for nominating. You have the option to keep your nomination anonymous by indicating your preference on the form. The ISOQOL office will follow-up with the nominee to obtain their completed Committee Member or Co-Chair Application outlined under Application Instructions.

Nominations are due by 19 November 2025 to provide sufficient time for the nominated candidate to complete their application.

Annual Conference Co-Chair Application

Please be advised that completing the Co-Chair Application will require a significant investment of your time. The application is divided into four sections:

  1. Candidate Application (a series of questions to be answered by each candidate)
  2. Election Statement
  3. Conflict of Interest Disclosure (please identify any actual or perceived conflicts)
  4. File Uploads (professional photo and CV)
