Propose a workshop, submit a symposium abstract, volunteer as an abstract reviewer.

Researchers, students, clinicians, regulatory agency professionals, industry representatives, and patient research partners are all encouraged to get involved in the ISOQOL 28th Annual Conference, to be held Wednesday 13 October through Saturday 16 October in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.*

Submissions remain open through the extended deadline, 19 January, for 2021 Annual Conference workshop proposals and symposium abstracts. The conference theme is Making valid decisions: Learning from Patient Reported Outcomes. Submissions related to the theory, methods, and application of health related quality of life research are encouraged but not required for workshops or symposia. Workshop proposal and symposium abstract submissions are now due on 19 January 2021.

Additionally, ISOQOL is seeking reviewers for all 2021 Annual Conference abstracts. Abstract reviewers serve a vital role in the scientific program planning process by ensuring the quality of educational content presented at the 2021 Annual Conference. Serving as a reviewer is an excellent way to build your resume, share your expertise, and support ISOQOL. The time commitment is low, but the impact is high!

*ISOQOL is optimistically planning to hold the 28th Annual Conference in Calgary for October 2021. The ISOQOL Board of Directors will assess the feasibility of an in-person meeting early next Spring 2021. If anything changes, it will be announced to both the abstract submitters and the ISOQOL membership at that time.

The International Society for Quality of Life Research (ISOQOL) is a global community of researchers, clinicians, health care professionals, industry professionals, consultants, and patient research partners advancing health related quality of life research (HRQL).
