SIG Leadership applications open next month!

ISOQOL Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide numerous networking and collaborative opportunities with like-minded professionals worldwide.

Serving as a SIG leader is a great way to get involved in ISOQOL and shape the grassroot activities of SIGs.

Are you an engaged SIG member interested in taking the next step and becoming a SIG leader? Complete the interest form below to let ISOQOL know and to receive more information about the volunteer roles! Alternatively, if you know another ISOQOL member who would make a good SIG leader, submit the colleague nomination form below.

Expected Commitment

While serving as a SIG leader is a high-commitment opportunity, SIG projects vary widely and so does the amount of time commitment needed to participate.

  • Working with the ISOQOL office and project volunteers to gain leadership approval or navigate submission processes for public-facing SIG projects (publications, symposia, etc.).
  • Reviewing and updating the SIG’s mission and vision statements as needed.
  • Recruiting future SIG leadership and project volunteers.
  • Maintaining continuity and institutional knowledge through leadership transitions.
  • Developing the agenda for the in-person SIG meeting at the ISOQOL Annual Conference and ensuring that a SIG leader or other volunteer is present to lead the meeting.
