Badges

Each attendee will receive a name badge upon check-in at the Annual Conference. Your name badge is the official conference pass and should be worn at all times during the meeting. Name badges are required for entry into paid/ticketed events, as well as the conference lunches Monday through Wednesday.

Certificates of Attendance

Certificates of attendance will be distributed electronically directly following the conference to all registrants, provided that they attend the conference in-person. Those who require a physical certificate can request one during the conference at the registration desk.

Certificates of Presentation

Certificates of presentation will be distributed electronically directly following the conference. Presentation certificates are issued to the presenting author for general abstracts only, provided that they attend the conference in-person. Those who require a physical certificate can request one during the conference at the registration desk.

Coat Check

Given that most of our attendees are staying at the conference hotel, ISOQOL does not accommodate coat or luggage check at the registration desk. Attendees are responsible for their belongings.

Coffee Breaks

The conference registration fee includes two coffee breaks daily on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Coffee will be served in the Kongress-Foyer.

During the Annual Conference, staff members are available to assist you onsite at the registration desk during operating hours.

Germany uses the Euro (EUR) as currency.

ISOQOL accepts credit card payment (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express) processed through PayPal. ISOQOL also accepts cash (USD or local currency EUR). If you wish to pay by check, please note that checks must be in U.S. Dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank and made payable to ISOQOL.

Exhibit Hall Hours

Exhibits are open on Sunday during the Welcome Reception. They are also open Monday – Tuesday during the coffee breaks and lunch break.

Guests and Children

ISOQOL asks delegates to refrain from taking children, spouses or guests to any educational session offered at the 2024 Annual Conference.
Sessions at the conference are restricted to registered attendees only.

Internet Access

All attendees can connect to the conference hotel Wi-Fi with the details below. For reference anytime, the internet network is printed on the back of your badge.

Language

English is the primary language of the United States and the official language of ISOQOL. All presentations will be written and presented in English, with the exception of the Local Workshop, which will be presented in German.

Lunch Breaks

The 2024 Annual Conference registration rate includes buffet lunches on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Buffet lunch is served on flow during the break. The lunch is scheduled for 1 hour and 45 minutes to help attendees maximize break times to include other scheduled meetings in the conference program.

By registering for the ISOQOL Annual Conference, you hereby give consent to be photographed by ISOQOL staff for the purposes of advertising and public display.

Session content is copyright-protected by ISOQOL. Recording of any session without the consent of ISOQOL is prohibited. Any recording made with the consent of ISOQOL is for personal use only and cannot be reproduced or distributed.

All sessions and presentations are only available in-person at the Annual Conference. They are not digitally archived for later viewing.

2024 Annual Conference registration includes:

  • Access to scientific content from Monday through Wednesday – including all plenary sessions, oral sessions, oral briefs, poster sessions, and symposia
  • Access to the exhibit area and the Welcome Reception on Sunday evening

  • Buffet lunch, Monday – Wednesday
  • Membership dues
    • ISOQOL member registration includes 2025 membership with continued access to full member benefits
    • Nonmember registration includes prorated 2024 membership and 2025 membership with access to full member benefits

Should you wish to explore the city, you can travel comfortably and quickly throughout Cologne on the well-developed public transport network.
