Patient Research Partner

Regular - Professionals in the field

Regular members are professionals, patient partners and individuals in the field of health-related quality of life and patient-centered outcomes interested in supporting the purposes of the Society.  Members in good standing shall be entitled to all privileges of membership and may vote, serve on committees, and hold office.

Student/Trainee - Pre/post-doc, resident, fellow

Student/Trainee membership is reserved for those who are enrolled in a full-time, accredited training program in a relevant field or in a pre/post-doc, resident or fellowship program. This member type retains all benefits and is eligible for lower dues.

  • Student/Trainee members must provide education information and dates on their new member applications or renewing member forms
  • Student/Trainee members must submit proof of status*

Retired

Retired membership is reserved for a professional or member that has retired and is no longer practicing in the field of health-related quality of life and other patient-centered outcomes.  This member type retains all benefits and is eligible for lower dues.

Special - Annual income less than $15,000 USD or reside in a developing country**

Special membership is available to individuals eligible for regular membership who reside in a developing nation or have an annual income less than $15,000. This member type retains all benefits and is eligible for lower dues.

Patient Research Partner

Regular Patient Research Partner (RPRP) members are professionals, patient partners and individuals in the field of health-related quality of life and patient-centered outcomes interested in supporting the purposes of the Society. RPRP members in good standing shall be entitled to all privileges of membership and may vote, serve on committees, and hold office.

  • RPRPs must indicate the latest research project you have worked on or are currently working on, and full name and email address of the lead researcher on the project

Affiliate Patient Research Partner (APRP) members are professionals, patient partners and individuals in the field of health-related quality of life and patient-centered outcomes interested in supporting the purposes of the Society.  APRP members entitled to limited membership benefits including membership to Committees, Task Forces and Special Interest Groups but would not have the privilege of voting, elected leadership positions or holding a board seat.

  • APRPs must indicate the latest research project you have worked on or are currently working on, and full name and email address of the lead researcher on the project

*Acceptable forms of proof include a scanned copy of your dated student identification card, letter from advisor, letter from registrar, or an official/unofficial transcript.

**Special Members from a developing country must hold primary residence in one of the eligible emerging and developing countries. List of Eligible Countries.

Using your online ISOQOL account, members can update their contact information and preferences, and join Special Interest Groups (SIGs).  All information updated on the user accounts is automatically updated in the Membership Directory.
