The 33rd Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions, to be held in New Orleans, will focus on the theme, Engaging New Partners and Perspectives, with the hope of promoting new interdisciplinary research opportunities, developing community partnerships, and establishing relationships with policymakers. There is an exciting group of invited speakers who will address a range of topics related to the theme, including genetics, genomics and behavioral medicine, obesity, cardiovascular health, innovative research partnerships, intervention dissemination and implementation, health policy, health information/communication technology, and mentoring/career development. The SBM annual meeting welcomes students at all levels, as well as Psychologists, Physicians, Allied Health Professionals, Health Policy Advocates, and Public Health Practitioners just to name a few.
